The three member delegation from the Asian Athletics are currently in Thimphu for an official visit from June 5th to 7th, 2024, upon invitation by the Bhutan Athletics Federation. The primary aim of the visit is to enhance bilateral relationships between the AA and smaller federations like ours. Moreover, the delegates had an audience with His Royal Highness Dasho Jigle Ugyen Wangchuck, the President of the Bhutan Olympic Committee, further emphasizing the significance of their visit.
